TLC Terms of Service – Summer Maintenance
TLC Mowing Program and TLC Premium Maintenance Program
· Season Start/End: Our mowing services begin the week of May 1st and continue until the week of October 31st, ensuring your lawn looks its best during the active growth period.
· Weekly Mowing: We only offer weekly mowing services to keep your lawn consistently well-maintained.
· Seasonal Programs: All clients are required to sign up for our seasonal programs, ensuring regular care for your lawn. However, there are no long-term contracts, providing you with flexibility.
· Dry Periods: During dry periods when your lawn may not require cutting, our crews still perform property maintenance work to keep your landscape in top condition. Please note that we do not provide refunds for such instances or offer discounts for skipping a week. This policy is essential for ensuring the stability of our business operations. Our crews are scheduled to service a certain number of clients each week.
· First Visit Additional Fee: Due to the many variables outside of our control including weather conditions (wind/precipitation) and the current condition of your property, the price provided is considered an ESTIMATE only, and we reserve the right to charge for work completed at an hourly basis of $85/man/hour spent on the property. Excessively high grass (>6″), or having your property serviced for the first time by us to meet our quality standards may increase the scope of work beyond this estimate. Please let us know if you would like to time cap on this service. If no time cap is specified at the time of accepting this proposal the cleanup will be performed to completion.
· Minimum Services: New Mowing clients require a minimum of four consecutive visits. Failure to receive four visits will result in an early termination fee equivalent to 1.5 times the weekly rate.
· Client Responsibilities: Clients must ensure the lawn is free from obstacles, ornaments, toys, and animal waste. Automatic sprinkler systems must be deactivated on service days to avoid interference.
· Participation in the Premium Maintenance Program requires completion of a clean-up service beforehand
TLC Basic Turf Care Program and TLC Premium Turf Care Program
· Service Timing: Our first Turf Care application takes place starting around mid-late April. Our last application takes place around Mid-October – November. The weather has a big part in application timing. We will communicate to our clients prior to each application being completed.
· Quality Assurance: Follow-up visits may be conducted to ensure the lawn’s health and Client satisfaction.
· Signage: After each application, a sign is placed on your lawn to indicate that treatment has been carried out. Applications including herbicides or pesticides will receive a sign indicating the product, application time, and date. Clients must refrain from using treated areas for 24 hours. Any applications not including pesticides or herbicides will receive a simple sign indication an application has been completed. We advise from using the treated areas for a period of 24 hours to allow the products to properly settle and take effect. This precaution ensures optimal results and minimizes any potential risks associated with contact.
· Instructions: Should there be any special instructions or considerations for you to follow following the application, rest assured that we will communicate them promptly via email.
· Support: Additionally, our team is readily available to address any questions or concerns you may have regarding the treatment process or its aftermath. Trust in our thorough approach to turf care for a greener, healthier lawn all season long.
Seasonal and Landscape Clean Ups
· Start/End: Our Spring Clean Up services begin when the weather permits usually around early – mid April. Once you accept your quote, and we get your services set up, we will notify you of the scheduled date for your Clean Up. Our Fall Clean Up services usually start around the beginning of November, depending on the weather and foliage remaining on the trees.
· Additional Fees: Due to the many variables outside of our control including weather conditions (wind/precipitation) and the current condition of your property, the price provided is considered an ESTIMATE only, and we reserve the right to charge for work completed at an hourly basis of $85/man/hour spent on the property. Excessive build-up of leaves and debris from deferred maintenance, excessively high grass (>6″), or having your property serviced for the first time by us to meet our quality standards may increase the scope of work beyond this estimate. Please let us know if you would like to time cap on this service. If no time cap is specified at the time of accepting this proposal the cleanup will be performed to completion.
· Participation in the Premium Maintenance Program requires completion of a clean-up service beforehand.
Billing
At Tyler’s Lawn Care, we prioritize a seamless payment experience tailored to your needs. When booking, we require a credit card on file to secure your appointments securely. For recurring Landscape Maintenance Services like Mowing, Turf Care, and Seasonal Cleanups, we offer flexible payment options.
Upon accepting an estimate, choose from convenient arrangements. Prepay and enjoy our discount, split the seasonal rate over six months from May to October, or Pay-Per-Visit. We also accept e-transfer payments for added flexibility. For one-off services, a 50% deposit secures your appointment, with the remaining 50% due upon completion.
Our client portal simplifies managing payment details, granting you full control and visibility over transactions.
Rest assured, we adhere to PCI Compliance standards, and our software is encrypted to guarantee its security. Once your card is securely stored, we can only access the last four digits and expiration date, safeguarding your sensitive information.
Other
· Notice of cancellation required by 8 AM the day before scheduled service.
· Full refund applicable for prepaid services with timely notice.
· Any amendments to the service agreement must be mutually agreed upon in writing.
· Clients may terminate services at any time with proper notice and adherence to the cancellation policy.
· All estimates are generated by GPS measurements.
· Prices are subject to change if the actual lawn square footage or access has changed.
By engaging with Tyler’s Lawn Care services, the Client agrees to these Terms of Service. These terms are subject to change, and the most recent version shall prevail.
