Tyler Ford
I grew up in an entrepreneurial family in Gander, Newfoundland. I’ve always had a special appreciation for business and the outdoors, which initiated the desire to provide top-quality outdoor property maintenance services while being aware of the environment. Following my father to Nova Scotia once he joined the RCMP, I started mowing lawns for neighbours during my early years of High School before I could even drive. By the end of High School, I was running a “small business” out of the back of a 2003 Honda Civic.
Tyler’s Lawn Care has grown from my summer job to a Lawn Care, Landscaping, and Snow Removal company with 10+ employees, five trucks, and hundreds of incredible customers. As we’ve grown, I remain committed to providing top-quality outdoor property maintenance services while being aware of the environment and making sure a smile is left on every customer’s face!
Mike Welton
Mike was born on the South Shore of Nova Scotia. He graduated from Riverview High School in Sydney, Cape Breton. Mike has a background in construction and working on oil rigs in Alberta. After moving back to Nova-Scotia, he became interested in learning more about the lawn care and landscaping industry. Mike joined Tyler’s Lawn Care team in 2018. He started as a member of our landscaping team, and he is now a licensed pesticide applicator and our Turf Care technician at Tyler’s Lawn Care. Mike also loves playing music and being outdoors.
Dillon Powers
Dillon was born and raised in the town of Ingonish, Cape Breton. Working many odd jobs over the past few years. In 2020 Dillon joined our lawn mowing team and quickly excelled to the position of Lawn Mowing Team Leader. Dillon enjoys the fast-paced environment and this past 2020 winter season learned how to operate a plow truck for the snow removal side of the business.
Ryley Berendsen
Ryley was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba but raised in Bedford, Nova Scotia. Ryley has always enjoyed the outdoors and after graduating from Charles P. Allen High School found a passion in Landscape. He also enjoys playing video games and going on hikes with his dog, Benson. Ryley enjoys working at Tyler’s Lawn Care and especially likes working closely with his fellow team members. Ryley’s outgoing and social traits make him a perfect Landscape Maintenance Team Leader!
Shane Arsenault
Shane was born in the Halifax area and raised in Hammonds Plains. Shane has been working with Tyler’s Lawn Care since he was hired as our first employee in 2016! Shane has worked in numerous roles with Tyler’s Lawn Care. Heading into the 2021 season, Shane is looking forward to taking on the part of our second Lawn Mowing Team Leader. Shane enjoys cooking at home and any activity that involves the outdoors! Shane looks forward to a successful career at Tyler’s Lawn Care..
Shahab Madadi
Although Shahab’s father is from Iran, Shahab was born and raised in Halifax, Nova Scotia. After graduating from Charles P. Allen High School, he moved on to Nova Scotia Community College, graduating with an Architectural Drafting degree. Shahab is very outgoing and enjoys spending his spare time with friends and being outdoors. Shahab enjoys working in an office environment which made him a perfect fit at our office as the Office Administrator.
